A trading city at a crossroads
Quetta has long been a meeting point for trade routes. Liaquat Bazaar, Kandahari Bazaar and the markets around them sell dry fruit, carpets, cloth, electronics and household goods. The orchards of Balochistan send apples, grapes and other fruit through the city's mandis, and wholesalers supply grocery stores across the province.
Food is part of the identity here. Sajji roasted over coals, Quetta's strong doodh patti served in chai hotels, and rosh in winter bring regular crowds. Many of these places are large, busy and run on cash, with the owner counting the day's takings late at night.
Which product fits
- Dry fruit and grocery wholesalers: Taajir tracks stock by item, records purchases and sales, and keeps a ledger for each buyer. Prices change often in dry fruit, and your purchase records show what you paid for each lot.
- Electronics and mobile shops: item-wise stock, invoices and supplier payments, with a mobile app to check the shop from home.
- Sajji houses, chai hotels and restaurants: ArfaPOS handles dine-in, takeaway and delivery billing and records each expense paid from the drawer during the day. On Growth and Business, orders also go to a kitchen display. See petty cash software.
- Retail and general stores: Taajir Standard at Rs 4,000 a month, or Rs 36,000 a year, for billing, stock and udhaar.
For a sajji house, the evening rush is when mistakes happen. With ArfaPOS, the cashier enters the order once, the kitchen gets its ticket, and the bill matches what was cooked. At closing, the sales report, the till close and the expense record show what came in and what went out, so the owner does not have to rebuild the day from slips.
Remote setup over long distances
AiroxLab's office is in Bhakkar, Punjab, a long way from Quetta. That does not change how setup works, because all setup and training are done remotely for every customer. On a video call we share the screen, enter your items and balances, set staff permissions and train your team. Afterwards, support is on WhatsApp in Urdu and English.
Internet in some parts of Balochistan is slow or drops often. Taajir and ArfaPOS are both built for that: they work offline and sync when the connection returns. Backups and updates happen automatically.
Taajir and ArfaPOS each have a 7-day free trial with no card. For custom software, send a short description through the quote form.
