A city of wholesale and late-night food
Walk through Jodia Bazaar and you see trade at its rawest: sacks of rice, pulses, spices and dry fruit changing hands on credit, with the account kept in a thick register and a lot of memory. Boulton Market and the lanes around it deal in everything from cloth to household goods. Distributors pick up from these markets and supply kiryana stores in every corner of the city.
The food side is just as busy. Burns Road is known for nihari, haleem and rabri. Biryani centres, BBQ points and chai dhabas stay open well past midnight, and delivery orders come in by phone and WhatsApp all night. Tariq Road and Saddar add garment shops, mobile markets and electronics dealers to the mix.
Matching the product to the trade
- Jodia Bazaar wholesalers and distributors: Taajir records every sale and purchase, keeps a ledger for each party and shows stock per godown. When a retailer asks what he owes, you can send the statement on WhatsApp in a minute.
- Delivery-heavy distributors: Taajir's mobile apps let a salesman check stock and a retailer's balance on the road. See distribution management.
- Burns Road eateries, biryani and BBQ points: ArfaPOS takes walk-in, takeaway and delivery orders on one screen and prints kitchen tickets. On Growth and Business, orders also go to a kitchen display and the Rider App shows each rider his deliveries, with cash collected per rider at closing.
- Tariq Road garment shops and Saddar mobile dealers: Taajir handles stock by item and size, sales invoices and supplier payments. Mobile dealers who need IMEI numbers per handset can add the Lots & Serials module; see IMEI and serial tracking.
- Restaurants that need e-invoice receipts: ArfaPOS sends invoices to FBR through its FBR ePOS integration on Growth and Business, and as a Rs 2,500 a month add-on on Starter. See FBR-integrated POS.
Remote setup that suits a Karachi schedule
Karachi traffic makes any visit a half-day trip. AiroxLab does not do on-site visits; we set you up over video call and screen share instead. We import your item list, enter opening stock and party balances, and train your staff on their own computers or phones. If a new cashier joins next month, we train them on a call too.
Support is on WhatsApp in Urdu and English. You send a screenshot of the problem, and we answer in the same chat.
Prices are in PKR. Taajir Standard is Rs 4,000 a month, or Rs 36,000 a year, and Business, for multiple warehouses, is Rs 5,000 a month or Rs 50,000 a year, with unlimited users on both. ArfaPOS is billed monthly: Starter Rs 4,999, Growth Rs 9,999 and Business Rs 14,999.
