SQL course in Bhakkar
Every ERP, POS and accounting app stores its data in a database. In Month 3 you learn SQL by designing tables for products, parties and sales, then writing the queries that turn them into reports.
- What a relational database is
- Tables, columns, rows and data types
- Primary keys and foreign keys
- Designing tables for products, customers, suppliers and sales
- INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE and DELETE
- Filtering and sorting with WHERE and ORDER BY
- JOINs across sales, items and customers
- GROUP BY, SUM, COUNT and AVG for reports
- Indexes and why some queries are slow
- Transactions so a sale and its stock change save together
- Parameterised queries and SQL injection
- Backing up and restoring a database
The database behind the Month 3 stock tracker, extended with sales and a customer ledger: tables for products, stock movements, customers, sales and payments, plus SQL reports for daily sales, best-selling items, low stock and each customer's outstanding udhaar.
Why SQL is worth learning properly
Business software is mostly data: items, prices, bills, payments, ledgers. If the tables are designed badly, the software gives wrong totals no matter how nice the screens look. SQL is how you store that data safely and ask questions of it, such as which customers owe money, which items sold most this week and what stock is left in the godown.
SQL is also one of the most lasting skills in software. Frameworks change every few years; the SQL you learn here has worked the same way for decades and is used in almost every company that keeps records.
How the SQL part of Month 3 runs
SQL is taught alongside Node.js in Month 3, in person at the AiroxLab office in Bhakkar. You start by writing queries directly against a sample shop database, so you can see results instantly without any app in between. Once queries feel natural, you design your own tables and call them from your Node.js server.
Practice is built around questions a shop owner would really ask. How much did we sell yesterday? Which five items brought in the most money this month? Which customers have not paid in 30 days? You write the query, run it, and check the answer against the data by hand.
- Querying a ready-made database: SELECT, WHERE, ORDER BY.
- Designing tables and relationships for your own project.
- Joins and grouping for real reports.
- Transactions, indexes and safe queries from Node.js.
The project: a stock and ledger database
You extend the stock tracker database with sales, customers and payments. That lets you build a simple customer ledger, the digital version of a khata. Take a customer who buys on credit: a sale of Rs 12,000 on Monday and Rs 8,500 on Thursday, with a payment of Rs 15,000 on Saturday. Your ledger query shows a balance of Rs 5,500 still owed. The same database answers daily sales, best sellers and low stock with one query each.
You also learn why a sale must be saved inside a transaction. If the bill is saved but the stock update fails because the power goes out halfway, the numbers no longer match. A transaction makes both changes happen together or not at all.
What you should already know
Comfort with the JavaScript from Month 2 is enough. SQL is a new language with its own simple structure, and it is taught from the first query. Basic arithmetic is all the math you need.
What comes next
Month 4 starts with Electron.js, where the database and logic you built here power a desktop billing app. See the full 5-month course and the Rs 10,000 monthly fee on the AiroxLab Academy page.
Questions people ask
Which database do you use?
The course teaches standard SQL on a relational database. The core commands, joins and grouping work the same way across the common SQL databases.
Do I need to be good at math for SQL?
No. SQL reports use sums, counts and averages. If you can add up a bill, you can follow the math.
What is SQL injection and do you cover it?
It is an attack where someone types SQL into a form field to read or damage your data. You learn to prevent it with parameterised queries whenever Node.js talks to the database.
Is SQL taught as a separate course?
No. SQL is part of Month 3 of the 5-month course, together with Node.js.
