CSS course in Bhakkar
CSS turns the plain HTML pages from your first weeks into screens people would happily use. You learn layout, spacing, colour and printing on the same invoice page you built in HTML.
- Linking a stylesheet and how CSS rules apply
- Selectors, classes and specificity
- The box model: margin, border, padding
- Colours, fonts and readable text sizes
- Flexbox for toolbars, headers and rows
- CSS Grid for page layouts and dashboards
- Styling tables: borders, zebra rows, right-aligned numbers
- Styling forms: inputs, buttons, focus states, errors
- Responsive design with media queries
- Print styles so an invoice prints cleanly on A4
- CSS variables for a consistent colour scheme
- Debugging layout with browser developer tools
A styled, printable version of the Month 1 invoice page, plus a small shop dashboard layout with a sidebar, summary cards for today's sales and pending udhaar, and a table of recent bills that collapses neatly on a phone screen.
Why CSS matters in business software
A shopkeeper using billing software all day cares about a few simple things. Can I read the numbers? Can I find the button? Does the bill print on one page? Those are CSS questions. Good styling is what makes software usable at a busy counter, and bad styling is why people go back to the parchi and the register.
CSS also has a reputation for being confusing, mostly because people learn it by trial and error. In this module you learn the few ideas that explain most layout behaviour: the box model, flexbox and grid. Once those make sense, you stop guessing.
How the CSS weeks run
CSS is taught in person at the AiroxLab office in Bhakkar during Month 1, right after HTML. Each class introduces one idea and then you apply it to your own pages. You will spend more time adjusting your layout than watching the instructor, which is how CSS actually gets learned.
A large part of the module is spent on two things beginners often skip. The first is tables. Business software shows a lot of numbers, and numbers should be right-aligned, with clear headers and rows that are easy to follow across the screen. The second is printing. Many Pakistani shops still hand the customer a printed bill, so you learn print styles that hide buttons, fit the invoice on A4 and keep the totals together.
- Week one of CSS: selectors, the box model, fonts and colours on the invoice page.
- Week two: flexbox and grid, building the dashboard layout.
- Throughout: responsive design and print styles, checked on a real phone and a real printer.
The project
You finish with two pieces of work. The first is the invoice page from the HTML module, now styled: a clear header, a neat items table, a highlighted total and a print layout. The second is a dashboard layout for a small shop. It has a sidebar menu, cards along the top (for example, today's sales Rs 48,500, cash in hand Rs 31,200 and pending udhaar Rs 17,300) and a table of recent bills below. On a phone, the sidebar collapses and the cards stack.
The cards show fixed numbers for now. That is fine. The goal is a layout you would be happy to put real data into, which is exactly what happens in later months when JavaScript, Node.js and SQL feed it live figures.
What you should already know
The HTML covered in the opening weeks of Month 1 is enough: tags, tables, forms and how files link together. No design background is needed. You will learn to judge spacing and alignment by doing it, with feedback on each version of your page.
What comes next
Month 1 ends with Git and GitHub, so the invoice page and dashboard you styled here get saved with full history and pushed online. To see the full 5-month plan and the Rs 10,000 monthly fee, visit AiroxLab Academy.
Questions people ask
Will you teach Bootstrap or Tailwind?
The focus is plain CSS: the box model, flexbox, grid and media queries. Those ideas sit underneath every CSS framework, so they make any framework easier to pick up later.
I am not good at design. Can I still learn CSS?
Yes. Business software needs clear, tidy layouts more than artistic design. You learn simple rules for spacing, alignment and readable numbers that work every time.
Why spend time on print styles?
Many shops in Pakistan still give the customer a printed bill. Knowing how to make an invoice print cleanly on one page is a practical skill that a lot of developers never learn.
Is CSS a separate fee?
No. CSS is part of Month 1, along with HTML and Git and GitHub. The course fee is Rs 10,000 per month for 5 months.
