POS software for cloud kitchens in Pakistan
A cloud kitchen has no hall and no walk-in customers. Every order arrives by phone, WhatsApp or online, and every rupee of margin depends on food cost, packaging and the rider. ArfaPOS gives a delivery kitchen its own ordering site and app, a kitchen screen, a rider app and a clear cost per order.
What makes this trade hard to run.
Orders arrive from everywhere
Phone calls, WhatsApp messages, Instagram DMs and delivery apps. Orders get missed or made twice when they are scribbled on a pad.
Packaging eats the margin
A biryani box, a raita cup, a bag and a sticker add up. Most cloud kitchens don't include packaging in their food cost and overestimate profit.
Riders and their cash are hard to track
Customers call to ask where their food is, and nobody knows. Riders collect cash on delivery and return late at night, and matching cash to orders is done from memory.
No storefront, no repeat customers
Without a shop sign, customers forget your name. You need a way to reach them again directly, without paying a commission on every order.
Built around the way you work.
Rider App and live delivery status
Assign each order to a rider. The rider sees the items, customer phone and address on his Android phone, opens the address in maps, and marks the order picked up, on the way and delivered. The kitchen sees every step.
Rider cash settlement
Cash collected is recorded per order and totalled per shift, so each rider's settlement at night is a list, not an argument. The rider performance report shows deliveries per rider.
Your own website and Android app
On Business, customers order from a branded website on your own address and your own Android app, with live order tracking and store hours. Orders land on your counter with no commission.
Kitchen display with web order accept and reject
Website and app orders appear on the kitchen screen. Staff accept or reject each one, and every order shows how long it has waited.
Recipes that include packaging
Add the box, cup and bag to each recipe so food cost per order includes everything that leaves the kitchen, and low-stock alerts warn you before boxes run out.
WhatsApp order bot and messages
The WhatsApp order bot takes orders on chat (included on Business, Rs 1,500 a month add-on otherwise). Send past customers bulk and template messages about new dishes and weekend deals.
From opening to closing.
Morning: purchase and prep
Rice, meat and vegetables are bought and recorded against suppliers. The kitchen preps gravies and marinades for lunch.
Noon: lunch orders
Office lunch orders come in from the website, app and WhatsApp bot. Each one is accepted on the kitchen screen and assigned to a rider when packed.
Afternoon: packaging stock check
A low-stock alert flags biryani boxes. The manager raises a purchase order with the packaging supplier.
Evening: dinner peak
Family dinner orders and late cravings. Riders update each delivery in the Rider App, and customers follow their order live.
Night: rider settlement
Each rider's cash is counted against the cash orders listed for him. Fuel advances are entered as expenses.
A delivery-only kitchen runs on thin numbers
Cloud kitchens have grown in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad because rent for a kitchen in a back street costs a fraction of a shop on the main road. The trade-off is that every order carries costs a dine-in restaurant doesn't have: packaging, delivery and often a platform commission. If you don't count those per order, a busy month can still lose money.
Worked example: what one biryani order really earns
| Line | Amount (Rs) |
|---|---|
| Chicken biryani, single, menu price | 650 |
| Ingredients (rice, chicken, oil, spices) | 260 |
| Box, raita cup, bag, sticker | 40 |
| Rider cost per order | 100 |
| Left after these costs | 250 |
Rs 650 minus Rs 260 minus Rs 40 minus Rs 100 leaves Rs 250 to cover gas, rent, salaries and profit. If the kitchen does 80 such orders a day, that is Rs 20,000 a day before fixed costs. Now say the same order comes through a delivery app charging a 25% commission. That is Rs 162.50 on Rs 650, which leaves only Rs 87.50. That is the case for your own ordering channel. Our online ordering system page explains how the ArfaPOS website and app work.
Put packaging in the recipe
In ArfaPOS, a recipe is a list of everything that is used when an item sells. For a cloud kitchen that includes the box and the bag. When 80 biryanis sell, 80 boxes are deducted from stock. Low-stock alerts tell you when boxes are running low, and the food cost includes packaging. Keep a par level for each packaging item so you never run out mid-shift.
Riders: where the food is, and where the cash is
Once an order is packed, the counter assigns it to a rider. The rider gets an alert on the Rider App with the items, total, customer name, phone and delivery notes, and can call the customer or open the address in maps. Each status change is time-stamped and shows on the counter, so when a customer calls to ask, staff can answer in a second.
At night, the cash a rider hands in should equal the cash-on-delivery orders he carried. Say a rider delivered 18 orders, 12 of them cash on delivery worth Rs 9,350, and handed in Rs 8,700. He is Rs 650 short, and the order list shows which delivery it was. Fuel advances paid from the drawer are entered as expenses. See delivery management software for the full flow.
Planning the menu around delivery
Not every dish travels well. Fries go soft and naan goes chewy in a 30-minute ride. The products report shows which dishes sell and which get ordered once and never again, and reviews and ratings linked to real orders tell you what customers thought. Combine that with food cost per item and you can trim the menu to dishes that travel well and earn well.
Building a name without a shop
With customer details on every order, you build a list of people who have ordered from you. Your own ordering app carries your name and logo on their home screen, and loyalty points give them a reason to order from you directly next time. WhatsApp messages carry a Friday deal or a new dish. If you run more than one menu from the same kitchen, talk to our team during setup about how to arrange items and reports for each.
Growth at Rs 9,999 a month covers the kitchen display, riders, recipes and loyalty. Business at Rs 14,999 adds the customer website, app, WhatsApp order bot and reviews. Both are billed monthly, and the 7-day trial opens Business in full.
Questions people ask
Can customers order directly from my cloud kitchen?
Yes, on the Business plan. You get a branded ordering website on your own address and your own Android app. Orders land on your counter and kitchen screen with no commission.
Does ArfaPOS connect to foodpanda?
No. There is no foodpanda integration. Enter those orders in ArfaPOS as delivery orders so your stock, recipes and sales stay complete.
Can I see where each rider is with an order?
Riders update each order in the Rider App as picked up, on the way and delivered, and the counter sees each step with its time. Customers ordering online can follow the order status too.
How do customers pay?
ArfaPOS records cash, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, card, bank transfer and customer accounts against each order. Riders' cash on delivery is tracked per order and settled at the end of the shift.
Can I see profit after expenses?
Yes. Record rent, gas, rider fuel and other expenses by category. On Business, double-entry accounting gives you a profit and loss statement and balance sheet, and payroll handles salaries and advances.

Fast food outlets
Burger, broast and shawarma outlets live on speed and deals. ArfaPOS bills a combo in seconds, sends it to the kitchen screen, shows waiting customers when their order is ready, and counts every bun, fillet and box of fries against the recipe.
Pizza shops
In a pizza shop, cheese is the most expensive thing in the kitchen and the easiest to overuse. ArfaPOS costs every size of every pizza, keeps the oven queue in order on the kitchen screen, tracks every rider on the road, and shows how much mozzarella the day's sales should have used.
Restaurants
A family restaurant runs three businesses at once: a dining hall, a takeaway counter and a delivery line. ArfaPOS puts all three on one live system, from the waiter's tablet and the kitchen screen to the rider's phone, and shows the owner what was sold, spent and left in the store by closing time.
